This activity is intended for psychiatrists, primary care physicians, psychologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychiatric nurses, and other healthcare professionals who seek to improve the care of patients with mental health disorders.


After participating in this activity, learners should be better able to:

  • Describe the prevalence, burden, and risk factors associated with PDP with and without dementia, including clinical features and triggers
  • Integrate validated assessment tools and clinical techniques into practice to identify psychosis early in patients with PD
  • Evaluate the mechanism of action and clinical trial and real-world safety/efficacy data for current, emerging, and off-label therapies for PDP
  • Implement multidisciplinary approaches to optimize care for patients with PD and PDP while engaging in effective communication strategies and shared decision making with patients and care partners
