HMP Education, part of HMP Global, is the driving force behind some of the global healthcare community’s most valued and highly regarded Continuing Education offerings — from Psych Congress to the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC), to Advances in IBD (AIBD). Developing and delivering practical education that improves care quality and patient outcomes is at the heart of what we do.
In late 2021, HMP Education received Joint Accreditation with Commendation from the governing bodies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Accreditation Program (ANCC). It is a 6-year accreditation through 2027, and represents the highest possible standard offered by these accrediting bodies. HMP Education is an approved continuing education provider for National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME), California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), California Board of Registered Nursing (CBRN), and individual activities may be approved for additional accreditation types.
As an accredited provider, HMP Education strictly adheres to the Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education, Standards and Requirements for Approval of Providers of Continuing Education in Podiatric Medicine, and other relevant guidelines and standards to ensure the independence of CE activities. All HMP Education-sponsored CE activities are objective, balanced, scientifically rigorous, and free of commercial bias.
