INTENDED LEARNERS

This activity is designed for oncology advanced practitioners (APs), including nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), clinical nurse specialists, advanced degree nurses, pharmacists, and associated clinicians who care for patients with cancer.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After participating in this activity, learners should be better able to:

• Describe the clinical applications of currently available CAR T-cell therapies, and how to identify appropriate candidates for CAR T-cell therapy
• Evaluate the most recent clinical efficacy and safety data associated with current and emerging CAR T-cell therapies for hematologic malignancies
• Assess strategies to ensure optimal patient care, including coordination between CAR T-cell treatment centers/academic settings and community oncology practices and monitoring/mitigation of treatment-associated toxicities

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS
