    INTENDED LEARNERS

    This activity is intended for primary care physicians, neurologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals who seek to improve the care of patients with chronic migraine.  

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES

    After participating in this activity, learners should be better able to:

    • Identify current barriers to the successful management of migraine, including suboptimal recognition and healthcare disparities, and appropriately diagnose/manage patients with migraine in the primary care setting  

    • Assess the safety/efficacy and mechanisms of action of newer treatment options for the prevention and acute treatment of migraine  

    • Incorporate newer treatment options into primary care based on guideline recommendations, recent data, and patient preferences for the improved management of migraine

    To be eligible for credit, participants must complete the activity and the evaluation. Upon completing the activity, there will be instructions on how to complete the evaluation and print a certificate or other documentation of credit.
