This activity is designed for interventional radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of cancer or looking to expand into this arena.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After participating in this activity, learners should be better able to:
- Describe the barriers to timely diagnosis and optimal management of HCC that contribute to poor patient outcomes
- Evaluate guideline recommendations for surgical, locoregional, radiation, and systemic therapy treatments in HCC
- Assess the mechanisms of action and most recent safety/efficacy data associated with newer and emerging treatments for HCC, including combination therapies
- Implement evidence-based strategies to optimize the multidisciplinary management of HCC
