This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of those who are involved and/or interested in the treatment of patients with GI cancers, community oncologists, physicians, physician assistants, physicians-in-training, oncology nurses, and pharmacists.
After participating in this activity, learners should be better able to:
- Utilize biomarker testing and guideline recommendations for genomic profiling to inform diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment selection
- Evaluate the clinical trial data on the efficacy and safety of current and emerging targeted therapies
- Apply adverse event management strategies and multidisciplinary care to mitigate treatment risks and maintain patient quality of life
To be eligible for credit, participants must complete the educational activity, complete the 6-question post-test with a score of 70% or better, and complete the evaluation form. Upon completing the activity, there will be instructions on how to complete the evaluation and print a certificate or other documentation of credit.
