Often managing the wound is the easier part of managing a patient with a chronic wound. Psychosocial, financial, cognitive, and physical issues can be the more challenging barriers to healing. Developing realistic strategies and an interdisciplinary network to treat patients is critical to achieving success. Attendees will learn how to negotiate and modify a plan that will result in the best possible outcome based on the patient’s reasonable expectations.
