Antibiotics: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

    Moderator/Speaker: Han Hulen, MD
    Speaker: Elizabeth Race, MD
The improper use and/or overuse of antibiotics has led to a rising number of antibiotic-resistant organisms, which has forced wound care providers to look critically at antibiotic use and seek alternatives to treatment strategies. This session will focus on new antibiotics that are available for skin and soft tissue infection and the issues surrounding the use of antibiotics to treat infections that occur in chronic wounds.
