The National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) revealed their new definitions for pressure ulcers during a consensus conference in 2016. This session will explore whether these changes have an impact on clinicians and facilities in regard to daily practice and risk management, especially in classifying the wound/pressure ulcer (injury).
