Susie Seaman, NP, MSN, CWOCN
ABSTRACT
Patients may present with chronic wounds that do not respond to standard care. Autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, vascular diseases and vasculopathies, malignancies, and other pathologies can cause forms of wounds that are atypical. This session will provide a case-based approach to how these wounds are diagnosed, their signs and symptoms, and how they are treated.
