    Session 32: Assessing Wound Healing OR Non-Healing: Beyond Prognostic Indicators

    ABSTRACT

    Recognizing the non-healing, or “non-responsive”, wound is essential in the ongoing care of patients. There are a variety of tools and classification systems that can be utilized to assess different etiologies of wounds however assessing the healing trajectory may still be an elusive skill. This session will explore how and when to recognize non-healing, when the clock starts ticking and potential interventions to reignite healing.
