    Session 23: Moisture Associated Skin Damage

    ABSTRACT

    Moisture can induce significant damage to the skin, especially in the skin folds, perineum, and areas surrounding a wound or stoma compromising the skin’s normal function as a barrier. This session will outline current and emerging interventions to prevent and manage moisture-associated skin damage.
