    Session 14: Pain Management

    Speakers

Daniel G. Federman, MD; Daniel Tobin, MD, FACP

    ABSTRACT

Wound pain is often described as one of the worst aspects of living with a wound, and chronic wound patients often suffer from chronic pain. Pain management, or lack thereof, may impact ulcer healing. Failing to assess and address patient pain and suffering can negatively affect outcomes of care. Additionally, inadequately assessing pain can also have legal ramifications. Join this session to develop your own personal toolkit to use, with an array of pain management options based on the wound type and pain location.
