    Intended Learners

    This activity is designed for physicians, podiatrists, physical therapists, nurses and pharmacists involved in the treatment of patients with chronic wounds

    Learning Objectives

    After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

    • Assess recent data on the effects of bioactive peptides in the wound healing enviornment and the role of collagenase as a debrider
    • Explore recent data on the role of enzymatic debridement in controlling inflammation and biofilm infection in the chronic wound
    • Translate new scientific data on enzymatic debridement to clinical relevance across the continuum of care

    Activity Overview

    This simulcast will be presented live on Thursday, April 14, 2016 during the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care Spring and Wound Healing Society Meeting.

    To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must attend the full simulcast event and complete the evaluation form. After successful completion of the evaluation form online at www.sawc.net, participants may immediately print their documentation of credit.

    To be eligible for credit for the live version of this activity, completed evaluations must be submitted online by May 17th, 2016
