Venous Ulcer Care: There’s More to it Than Just Compression

The optimal treatment of venous leg ulcers involves appropriately applied and timed medical and surgical management. This session will provide a comprehensive review of the medical management of venous ulcers, including compression therapy, exercise and traditional and advanced wound care products. Additionally, non-invasive venous testing modalities and the
role of venous ablative and/or surgical procedures in the treatment and prevention of recurrence of venous ulcers will be examined.
