Intended Learners
This activity is designed for physicians, podiatrists, physical therapists, and nurses who treat patients with chronic wounds.
Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review the basics and clinical evidence of wound debridement
- Define the various debridement techniques (ie, surgical/sharp, chemical, mechanical, biological, and autolysis) modalities
- Demonstrate procedure for conservative sharp wound debridement
Activity Overview
This one-day debridement workshop will be presented live on September 14, 2015.
To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must attend the full event and complete the evaluation form. After successful completion of the evaluation form online at www.naccme.com, participants may immediately print their documentation of credit.
To be eligible for credit for the live version of this activity, completed evaluations must be submitted online by October 14th.
