INTENDED LEARNERS

This activity is designed for orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, surgical podiatrists, non-surgical sports medicine physicians, primary care sports medicine physicians, athletic trainers, and physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After participating in this activity, learners should be better able to:

  • Explore the use of a single-injection hyaluronic acid (HA) treatment in the treatment algorithm for the management of osteoarthritis​
  • Identify patient and treatment factors that predict a favorable response to intra-articular HA treatment to guide patient and treatment selection
  • Examine the differences in efficacy, the science, clinical application, and duration of action of various HA products available 

To be eligible for credit, participants must complete the educational activity, complete the 4-question post-test with a minimum score of 70%, and complete the activity evaluation form. Upon completing the activity, there will be instructions on how to complete the evaluation and print a certificate or other documentation of credit.
