Explain the epidemiology, pathogenesis, classification, and clinical features of Epidermolysis bullosa
Recognize the burden of the disease on persons living with EB, their family and caregivers
Implement appropriate diagnostic tests to confirm the diagnosis of epidermolysis bullosa and guide treatment decisions
Apply the principles of wound care and infection prevention specific to epidermolysis bullosa to minimize skin trauma and reduce the risk of secondary infections
Employ a multidisciplinary, cooperative, and iterative approach to the management of persons with EB
Examine unmet needs in the management of patients with EB and research of new and emerging treatment therapies
